Prices in USD, billed monthly through Wix. The search engine and ranking are the same on every plan, with no limit on searches. When a paid plan ends, the site moves to Free and search keeps working.
Questions
Does it work with Wix Stores products?
Yes. Products from Wix Stores are indexed, and results show the product image, price and stock status. On Pro and Business, products, blog posts, bookings and events update from Wix as they change.
How fast does a change show up after I publish?
A page is re-checked when a visitor opens it, so pages people view are refreshed within about a minute. A new page is added the first time a visitor opens it. A site check also finds new and removed pages every hour on Pro and Business, and weekly on Free.
Does it change my site design?
No. The app adds a search box that opens from a button on every page, or you can place it inline where you want it. It keeps its own styles apart from your site, and you set its colours, fonts and labels from the dashboard.
What data is stored?
Your site URL and app instance ID, the public content of your site (pages, products, posts, events, services and CMS items), and the text of visitor searches with the time and result count. No visitor names, emails, IP addresses or cookies are stored. Data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Search logs are kept 7 days on Free and 90 days on Pro and Business.
Can I exclude pages from search?
Yes. In the dashboard, add a path rule to leave out any page or section, such as member areas or drafts. Excluded pages are removed from results.
How do I cancel?
Paid plans are bought and cancelled through Wix billing. When a paid plan ends, the site moves to the Free plan. If you uninstall the app, your indexed content, search logs and settings are deleted within 24 hours.
